FROM THE WORLD GOVERNMENT TO GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

Abstract

The reason for the occurrence of this article is the appearance of collection of works on global governance that is arranged by Jovan Babic and Petar Bojanic. The author takes this anthology as an excellent indicator of the dominant liberal views on the preferred transformation of the modern World. Starting from the collected texts he tries to reconstruct the model of transformation of global relations which left-liberal authors advocate. Primarily he emphasizes move from the idea of a centralized World government to a decentralized global governance that takes place at different levels. The author presents also his criticism of this model.
