Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of information technologies enabled the emergence of remote work, as a special form of flexible work. In the first part of the paper, the concept of teleworking is defined and its essential elements are identified. After that, the standards of teleworking adopted under the auspices of the International Labor Organization and the European Union are discussed in detail and critically reviewed. Then the ways and results of the implementation of the Framework Agreement of teleworking in the member states of the European Union, using the comparative law method, are pointed out. In the concluding remarks, the authoress presents the basic advantages and challenges in arranging teleworking, indicating possible ways to solve the corresponding problems.
