PROCEDURE FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF FREE ACCESS TO INFORMATIONS OF PUBLIC INTERESTS TO LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL AUTHORITIES

One of the powerful means for citizens to influence the functioning of the public authority is the right to access information of public importance. Besides being concerned about basic human right, with it, the public can evaluate the actions of the relevant public authorities and ultimately influence policy decisions, or to participate in government. To the right about the availability of public information could be implemented in practice, it is necessary to regulate the procedures and regulations of the participants in the implementation and application of these rights. This article is devoted to the analysis of procedures for exercising the right of free access to information of public interest to local and international authorities.
