Abstract

In this article the author analyses historical development and legal solutions on the organization and functions of state administration in the fled of religion, diaspora and human and minority rights. Bearing in mind the comparative law tendency to gather administrative affairs in these areas, as well as their similarities and significance, the conclusion is that there is a need in the Republic of Serbia for establishment an independent administrative body, or department that would be competent, if not exclusively, then certainly for all the administrative affairs in the fled of religion, diaspora and human and minority rights.
