IMPROVING THE TAX TRANSPARENCY AT THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

Abstract

The article deals with issue of tax transparency from the aspect of the measures undertaken at the international level. Different international organizations, European Union and individual countries have undertaken measures and projects with an aim to make multinational companies to disclose information on their business activities and payment of taxes in each country. Special importance is given to the projects of the OECD and World bank in the sphere of extractive industry, but also a number of directives adopted in the European Union.
